Make A Payment From your Account's Main Page

There is now Make A Payment module on your account's main page.  The Make A Payment module enables you to Pay up to 5 documents (invoices/credits) or Pre-pay any desired amount

Alternatively, customers have the option to visit the Invoices section located on the top navigation bar to submit invoice/credits or prepayments.

 

 

Enhanced Invoice display

The enhanced Invoice display shows a list of enabled, filtered documents. You will be able to view details such as Item number, Description, Amount, Discount, Net Amount, Case and Bottles. You will also be able to repeat the same order.

 

 

Bill Pay Options

Bill Pay displays a list of invoices and credits, if available, to you to select for payment. You have can select up to a maximum of five (5) “documents” (Invoices or Credits) for payment.  In the payment column, a user can choose to under-pay or over-pay* an invoice.  The Payment Total field will keep a running sum of the how much the customer intends to pay.

*Note:  When a customer selects to under-pay an invoice, they will be asked for a reason. All California sites will present a dropdown menu with pre-populated reason codes. All other states, FL and NY, will offer a text box to allow the customer to describe the reason for the under-payment. Customers will not be allow to enter 0 or negative-amount payments and the summation of invoices and credits cannot equal 0 or less.

 

Pre Payment Options

You can select any amount to prepay along with a comment for your records, and Southern’s, to be shown later on your confirmation email. 

 

 

Submitting Payments

After Bill Pay selections have been made, confirmation of the payment amount is required. Once confirmed, SWO will capture the total amount due, and route the user to Chase’s Pay Connexion website to finalize payment.

Secure and Safe Online Payment System

After payment confirmation, Pay Connexion’s Make a Payment page will display.  This page presents the Total Amount Due based upon previous selections for this transaction.  Also on this page, are the options to choose a payment date, method or to create a new account from which to pay.

Once satisfied with the options selected, clicking “Continue” will launch the Payment Confirmation screen.

To receive written payment confirmation, the Send me an email confirmation check box should be checked. 
This will ensure an email is sent to the address associated with the existing SouthernWineOnline.com account.



When placing a payment using either Bill Pay or Pre-pay, the customer cannot exceed the Due Date listed in the Payment
Information area of the Make a Payment page


On the Payment Confirmation screen (Figure 10), Terms and Conditions must be accepted and a Customer Number
*must be entered to process the payment.

*Note:  The customer (account) number must be nine (9) digits long. In the event that the customer number is not that long, simply add leading zeros to meet the character minimum. E.g. if your customer number is 12345 you will need to enter 000012345 in order to meet the 9 digit character requirement.
